Welcome,

My wife and I first got this idea while visiting the beautiful Butchart Gardens in Victoria Canada. I made up my mind to build a garden like this in Cambodia with a big statue of Bhudda in the middle. The statue will be an icon for the Bhuddist religion. Our mission is to raise enough money in the future to build the largest Buddha statue in the new biggest garden in the Kingdom of Cambodia. We will call this the “Buddha Garden.” Our country does not yet have a park on this kind of grand scale. The garden will be a gift from all of us, to all of us; and when it is finished it will belong to the future generations. The garden will have world-class architectural and landscape design, that fits the Khmer culture and Cambodia's sub tropical climate. A small portion of the land will be used to create and maintain a tradional japanese zen sand garden.

Our vision is to unite all Khmer families around the world and to continue sharing our culture, language, food and religion. This website was created to foster friendship and partnership. PeopleSchool.Net welcomes all Khmer and foreigners around the globe, and invites you to learn the Khmer language. Let us help one another for the benefit of all of our knowledge. Our home-land is now called the kingdom of Cambodia, the official religion of which is Buddhism. We will give 50% of all the money received from our members and put it towards the garden.

The money going towards the garden will be controlled by a board team member. We will post on this website how much money is coming in so you can see how close we are to having the money we need to start this project. Whatever we spend will be voted on by board members. The other 50% will go towards paying the teachers, cameramen and website design. Our goal is to have this project take five to fifteen years to start. PeopleSchool.Net is going to help two Cambodian top performing students a year with scholarships for college. Peopleschool.net is a non-profit charity. When the garden is finished it will not be owned by any one person, but completely by the members of this website and the Khmer community.

Every member that signs up for atleast a year will have their name engraved on the Donors Wall in our Bhudda Garden. It may take time to raise enough money to build this dream garden, but rest assured that we will get there. When your heart is open and you see the garden with your own eyes, you will be so proud that you were a part of this website. With your support and our vision, we believe this dream will soon come true. So let us join together and unite all Khmer families around the world. Peopleschool.net wants to thank you so much for all your support!

Each of us can make a difference.
